DNA finger printing || DNA printing || Finger printing

(Q) What is DNA finger printing ? Explain in detail.

Ans :-( 1) DNA stands for Deoxyribo nucleic acid. DNA finger printing is a method of identifying of an Individual ,based on the paticular pattern present on the DNA.

( 2) 99.9%  portion of DNA is similar to each and every Person ,but 0.1 % portion of DNA is Unique in Every person.

( 3) This Unique pattern is called VNTR , Which Stands for Variable Number of Tandon Repeats.

(4) This VNTR is Responsible to uniqueness to every individuals. So by the help of VNTR we easily identify Person.

( 5) There are 8 Steps to identyfing the pattern of DNA  of person ,which is listed below.

There are 8 Steps involving for the identifying the unique pattern present in DNA of person. Which is listed below:

Centrifugation :- This is the first step in which the DNA Sample molecule is Extracted.

Amplification :- This is the second Step in which Several  sample DNA Molecule is Copied.

The amplification process use Enzyme PCR (polymerase) to obtain several copies of Sample DNA.

Cutting :- This is the third Step in which the Sample DNA molecule is allow to cut down into several pieces parts . This done with the help of Enzyme called Endeneo Reticulum pleases.

Electrophoresis :- This is the fourth process in which Cut out  sample DNA molecule is bring to separates, in such a way that larger size of Molecule moves towards Anode and smaller size of molecule moves far away from Anode.

Visualization :- This is the fifth process in which Sample molecule of DNA is visualized observed.

Southern Blotting :- This is the sixth process in which Sample molecule of DNA is allow to transfer from Electophoresis plate to another plate .

Hybridisation :- This is the seventh Process in which probs are added during this process  the DNA molecules attached on the probes

Autoradiography :- This is Eighth and last step in which Ultra - violet radiation use to complete this process.
